What does a Realtor Do?

Helping people with their largest financial purchase is an important role. The benefits far outweigh any drawbacks! So….what does a realtor do….or more specifically, what does a GOOD realtor do?

A realtor is an independent contractor employed by a brokerage and regulated by the province of Ontario and much of what they do is behind the scenes.  Maximum exposure for sellers to generate the best price and maximum information for buyers to feel secure with their purchase. Agents should have a keen eye for detail, knowledge about how people process information and the ability to form relationships in order to best represent you (as the buyer or seller!).  Trust, integrity as well as hard working should round out the list.
